Course objective

Learning about the work process in the company in which the internship takes place, its goals and organizational units (if there are any). Getting to know the team and the project chosen by the student. Understanding the company’s business processes and risks; participation in design, documentation and quality control.

Course outcome

Developing the students’ ability to take part in the work process upon graduating. Developing their sense of responsibility, professionalism and communication skills in a team. Complementing the theoretical knowledge gained during studies and creating a strong link between the theory and practical realization. Using the experience of the employees from the company in which the internship takes place to expand the students’ practical knowledge and raise their motivation levels. Gaining a clear insight into the possibilities of the practical application of knowledge and skills gained during the internship.

Course content

Theoretical classes

The internship fully complies with the practical aspect of the course. The student becomes familiar with the company’s structure and goals; they adjust their work to their academic area of choice and meet all the obligations within the team. The student gives an account of the internship and provides a critical evaluation of the experience and the knowledge and skills gained during the internship.
