CERN School of Computing held for the first time in Belgrade
At the beginning of this week, the first workshop for new members of the ITS Photo Club was held. The gathering was organized by Danijela Grujić, who welcomed the new members and briefed them on their rights and obligations, which are encompassed in the activities within the Photo Club. The workshop was attended by existing members of the Photo Club, as well as colleague Filip Stefanović, who actively participated in organizing workshops and training for both old and new members.
Given that the task of the new members was to submit two photographs on the themes of portraiture and food arrangement, the first part of the workshop involved the analysis of the submitted works. Young photographers received advice and constructive guidance on how to improve their photographs.
Next, a setup with lights and a model was arranged. Following the instructions of experienced colleague Stefanović, the new members of this club practiced photographing a female model. They paid attention to framing, the position and intensity of lights, background, and other technical details. The experience gained in this workshop will contribute to their understanding of how to adjust the necessary photographic equipment
