Snježana Đokić was born in Banja Luka on September 21, 1970, where she finished primary and secondary school. She graduated in 1994 from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rijeka (Republic of Croatia), majoring in International Exchange. She obtained her Master’s degree in 1999 in the field of Marketing at the University of Westminster in London (Great Britain). She got her PhD in 2012 at the Faculty of Business Studies – Megatrend University (Belgrade).
She worked at the following higher education institutions: the Independent University of Banja Luka; the Faculty of Management, Sremski Karlovci; the Faculty of Information Technology, Economics and Entrepreneurship, Banja Luka; the Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship, Belgrade; the College of Informatics and Management “Janjoš”, Prijedor.
Work in the economic sector: MPRI Banja Luka, World Bank, Part-time Consultant, coordinator of the World Bank for the Republic of Srpska for the Advanced Course in Auditing and Accounting, ZeCom Računari d.o.o., USAID Private Sector Accounting Reform Project, coordinator of the Program for Support to Enterprises in RS, USAID Legal and Regulatory Reform Project, Tropik d.o.o. Banja Luka, USDCC (US Center for Demining in RS), Municipal Assembly of Laktaši, Public Revenue Administration and Plan and Analysis Service. She participated in several domestic and international congresses and seminars.
She has published: ten books and textbooks, nine papers in journals which are on the SCI list, four lecture notes, fourteen papers in anthologies and four papers in domestic and foreign journals.
She is a certified court interpreter for the English language, and her level of knowledge of the German language is B2.
