Miloljub D. Luković graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade. At this faculty, he defended his Master’s thesis in 1993 under the title “Synthesis, construction and analysis of the characteristics of ZnO-based thick film varistors“. He defended his PhD entitled “Planar Thick Film Integrated LCV Cells” in 2001 at the same faculty, at the Department of Microelectronics, Physical Electronics and Computer Technology.
He has more than 30 years of work experience in scientific research and teaching physics, informatics, designing information systems and computer technology. He published over 100 scientific papers and participated in seven projects of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development in the field of Information Technology.
He was working in all scientific positions, from research associate to scientific advisor. He worked as a professor of vocational studies at the Preschool Teacher Training and Business Informatics College of Applied Studies – Sirmium in Sremska Mitrovica and as an associate professor within undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the Faculty of Computer Sciences of Megatrend University in Belgrade.
Miloljub Luković was hired as a professor in the PhD programme at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak. He was a mentor or co-mentor for five PhD theses. He has a significant role in the work with PhD students, in the experimental and theoretical part, from which many scientific papers emerged.
From 2005 to 2008, he was a member of the editorial board for the journal “NTB” (“Science, Technology, Security”), published by the International Security Institute, Belgrade. He reviewed papers published in the following international journals: “Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter”, “Journal of Alloys and Compounds”, “Ceramics International”, “Materials Science and Engineering B”, and “Nanotechnology”.
