Dragana Grujičić completed her Master’s and Specialist studies in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade. During her studies, she was a scholarship recipient of the International School of Painting, Drawing and Sculpture in Monte Castello di Vibio, Italy.
She participated in numerous international art symposia, conferences and art colonies in Serbia, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Romania, a residency program in Lendava in Slovenia, BiH, Croatia, as well as the “Pulau Ketam” Art Festival in Malaysia (2016), the International Conference of the University of Arts FSRD UNS in Indonesia (2020), the International Art Symposium at the Faculty of Art and Design in Amman (Jordan, 2018) and the Drushkininkai Symposium (Lithuania, 2019).
So far, she has exhibited her artworks at 23 solo exhibitions in Serbia – in Belgrade (galleries “ULUS”, “SULUJ”, “SKC”, “Trag”, “Sanja”, “Qucera”, “B. Miljković”, “Freedom “, “Vuk Karadžić” Cultural Center, Institute for the Study of Cultural Development, etc.), in galleries and museums in Pančevo, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Vranje, Pirot, Trstenik, Smederevska Palanka, Bačka Palanka, etc.
She exhibited her works at over 80 group exhibitions in museums and galleries around the world: USA, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Malaysia, Jordan, South Korea, Lithuania, Spain, Egypt, Indonesia, etc.
She won the “Mr Miodrag Janjušević, academic painter” prize for painting in 2007, the prize at the Biennal of Miniature Art in Valjevo (EHO ART) in 2018, and the prize at the International Biennal of Nude “Marko Gregović” in Petrovac (Montenegro) for 2018.
She is a member of the Art Council of the Gallery “Trag” in Belgrade. She has many years of experience in pedagogical work in informal education – through art workshops for children and adults – and in secondary education.
