He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Belgrade, and got his PhD at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš, earning the title of Doctor of Science in the field of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He has been teaching in higher education institutions since 2003, and until then he worked in the city administration and in the economic sector.

He has been elected professor of vocational studies for the narrow scientific field of Informatics and Information systems and in the past period, he was teaching 20 subjects which belong to this narrow scientific field.

He is the author or co-author of over 20 scientific works, which have been published in international and domestic journals or presented at conferences. In addition, he is the author or co-author of five textbooks and workbooks. Since 2000, he has been professionally working in the IT sector. His areas of interest in IT are data mining, machine learning, web technologies, databases and the like.

At ITS, he is teaching courses within the Vocational Master’s study programme.
