Ana Bašić graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Automation. She got her PhD in 2017 at Singidunum University in Belgrade, majoring in Engineering Management where she successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Development and application of the methodology for assessment and reduction of risks when using radio equipment”.

She has more than 15 years of work experience in the “Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services” in the field of conformity assessment of radio and telecommunication terminal equipment, as well as in the field of broadcasting. She participated in the work of international bodies and organizations for standardization in order to achieve regulatory goals during the creation and development of standards. In addition, she participated in the certification of telecommunications equipment in the laboratories of world manufacturers, and she also worked on technical inspection of telecommunications facilities. She has a license as a responsible designer of telecommunications networks and systems. She is the author and co-author of a large number of papers in national and international journals, as well as a large number of papers presented at conferences of international and national significance. Her papers have been cited in national and international scientific works.

Since 2022, she has been a part of the teaching team of ITS, where she is teaching courses in professional subjects within undergraduate and postgraduate study programs.
