Course objective

The objective of this course is mastering the techniques of analyzing and designing specific information systems used in e-business.

Course outcome

The students will learn the fundamentals and principles of Max Weber’s bureaucratic organization, the concepts of behavioral theory, motivation factors, the basic elements and principles of organization design, and the impact of strategy on business system organization. They will learn the definition, functions and dimensions of organizational structure, how to determine and analyze tasks in a company, the criteria for the division of work and departmentalization, the delegation of authority, formalization, the creation of process design and the importance of the human factor, the impact of organizational culture, the approaches to designing the performance appraisal and reward process, as well as organizational structure analysis and research and the principles of e-business design in an organization..
