The international scientific conference LINK IT & EdTech24, organized by the Faculty of Contemporary Arts (FCA), the Information Technology School (ITS), and the Institute for Contemporary Education (ICE), was held from May 24 to 25 in a hybrid format. The conference was ceremoniously opened by the robot Pepper, who greeted the participants and guests. You can watch how Pepper addressed the audience here. Robot Pepper is a teaching assistant at the educational institutions of the LINK edu Alliance, which includes ITS and FCA.
The conference highlighted the importance of using robots in education, especially at ITS and FCA. Robots enhance students’ technological skills and develop critical thinking and creativity, making education more interactive and efficient.
The conference brought together experts from the fields of education and information and communication technologies, aiming to exchange knowledge and ideas.
