NEW AND LATEST MODULES: The study program Information Technology has been (re)accredited!

Information Technology study program at ITS, initially accredited 18 years ago, has once again received accreditation for a period of seven years. This accreditation comes with an impressive increase in student intake to 360, opening up significant opportunities for all interested parties and reducing waiting lists that are compiled each year. This significant step confirms ITS as the only higher education institution in the region offering specialized study programs and modules of exceptional importance to current market needs. The new accreditation brings the latest modules:

The quality of the offered study programs has been recognized by the Review Commission and the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance (CAQA), who highly praised ITS for its dedication to high educational standards, as well as its scientific research and publishing activities.

This accreditation arrives at a crucial moment in ITS’s intensive development, with numerous planned and successfully realized accreditation and reaccreditation processes at both undergraduate and master’s levels of study. These initiatives demonstrate ITS’s continuous commitment to enhancing the quality and scope of its educational and research activities.

With this step, ITS has once again become a pioneer in the country and region, this time as the first and only higher education institution of applied studies offering the most current programs in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Studying in the Information Technology study program – Artificial Intelligence and Data Science module equips you to develop and apply machine learning algorithms for predictive analysis and decision-making. You will gain the ability to apply principles of artificial intelligence, including neural networks and deep learning techniques. Additionally, you will learn how to apply data visualization techniques to effectively present your analytical conclusions. The program also trains you to ethically and responsibly use data in practical applications of artificial intelligence.

Studying in the Information Technology study program – Software Development module prepares you to work on the entire process of software design, development, and implementation – from initial analysis, planning, and design, through coding and testing, to software installation and maintenance at its usage site.

Studying involves working on concrete projects aimed at independently developing software solutions.

The study program covers areas of software engineering, software requirements specification, design and implementation of software solutions, and a wide range of tools, languages, and technologies (Visual Studio, .NET, C#, SQL, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, PHP, Java, Python, etc.).
