CERN School of Computing held for the first time in Belgrade
Last week, students from the Information Technology School (ITS) had a unique opportunity to participate in the event “Studenti u susret struci”, which brought together students of applied studies and industry representatives. The two-day gathering was held on April 12 and 13 at the Cultural Center “Studentski Grad”.
This was the first corporate event exclusively focused on students of applied studies, bringing together participants from the entire region – students, companies, colleges, academies, prominent individuals from the business world and higher education, as well as graduates and students from vocational high schools and grammar schools.
During these two days, ITS students had the opportunity to connect with their peers from other applied studies, as well as with company representatives and other important figures from the business and educational sectors. Professor Ivan Anić represented ITS by giving a lecture at the conference, presenting the study programs at ITS, along with details about the advantages of the school and the knowledge gained there. He was joined on stage by our students Tijana Milošević and David Milovanović.
Such events are invaluable as they provide our students with the opportunity to expand their knowledge, network with peers and company representatives in their field of interest, and gain a better insight into their future careers. We are delighted to be part of initiatives that contribute to the development of our students and their success in the job market.
