CERN School of Computing held for the first time in Belgrade
At the traditional student ceremony of the Student Conference of Academies for Applied Studies in Serbia (SCAS), held to celebrate Students’ Day, ITS was present alongside other dignitaries – the most significant representatives of education in the Republic of Serbia.
With the support of the Ministry of Education and the Student Conference of Universities in Serbia, SCAS honored the most distinguished students from various fields of applied studies in our country.
Thanks to the financial support of academies and colleges, made possible through student membership fees, the best students got the opportunity to be rewarded and receive support for their further career development.
The ceremony, held in the prestigious setting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, brought together numerous guests from the academic community and the top of state administration. Among the distinguished guests were Prof. Dr. Slavica Đukić Dejanović, Minister of Education; Prof. Dr. Gabrijela Grujić, Director of the Office for Dual Education and the National Qualifications Framework; Dr. Branko Savić, Professor and President of the Conference of Academies for Applied Studies in Serbia (CAASS); Margareta Smiljanić, President of SCONUS; and Vojislav Stojanović, President of SCAS.
ITS’s participation in this significant event once again confirms our dedication to the development of higher education and applied studies in Serbia, as well as the support the school provides to its students for their professional advancement and success.
