At the Faculty of Economics, as part of the event Days of the Faculty and the celebration of its 87th anniversary, a lecture titled “Future Professions for Economics and Business Students” was held, where an important role was played by ITS professor Ivan Anić, also the creator of the Brainfinity competition. His participation in the panel discussion provided significant insight into future trends and skills needed for success in the business world. Alongside him, other discussion participants were Tijana Koprivica, Director of Sustainable Business at Delta Holding, as well as Aleksandar Baucal, a full professor at the Faculty of Philosophy.
In the discussion, moderated by the Vice Dean for Science, Mladen Stamenković, the emphasis was on the importance of adapting education to new market needs, with a special focus on the development of critical thinking, creativity, and emotional intelligence. These key skills are recognized as essential for navigating through a dynamic and constantly changing business environment.
During the lecture, speakers highlighted how the job market is changing at a pace that requires students to be flexible, capable of teamwork, and continuous learning. The importance of following personal interests and passion as guides through professional development was particularly emphasized, encouraging students to continuously upgrade their skills in line with market evolution.
