At the International Multidisciplinary Conference “Challenges of Contemporary Higher Education” (CCHE) for the year 2024, a paper titled “Empowering Innovations in Higher Education: The Smart4Future Approach to Developing Entrepreneurial Ecosystems and Advancing Smart Technology Integration” stood out. This research was largely made possible through the support and funding provided by the EIT HEI Initiative: Building Innovation Capacities for Higher Education through the “Smart4Future” project (Smart Innovation for a Sustainable Future), ID 1029. This initiative plays a key role in guiding higher education institutions through the landscape of technological progress.
The authors of this paper, Valentin Kuleto, Nina Stojanović, Branko Savić, Larisa Mihoreanu, Nevenka Popović Šević, Milena Ilić, Michael Philippe Bosonnet, and Lidija Miletić, with their innovative approach and detailed analysis, rightfully received recognition for the best paper at the conference.
The paper thoroughly explores the development and application of innovative strategies in higher education, with a special focus on creating entrepreneurial ecosystems and efficiently integrating smart technologies. The aim of these research and proposals is to transform the way higher education adapts to rapid changes in technology and society, promoting entrepreneurship and innovation among students and academic staff.
In the art session, special recognition was awarded to the paper “Connecting Art, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation: Insights from the Creative Nexus Initiative”, authored by Milena Ilić, Dragan Ćalović, Biljana Viduka, Vladana Radnović, and Marko Pavlović. This paper stood out with its unique approach to linking artistic practices with entrepreneurship and innovation, emphasizing the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in modern education and culture.
Both awards are evidence of the dedication and excellence of ITS and FCA in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and art in higher education. These papers not only reflect a commitment to progress and development within the academic community but also set new standards in the education sector, inspiring future generations to explore, innovate, and bridge the boundaries between disciplines.
