On December 12, 2023, the first meeting of the new project teams from the new cycle of the ITS Project Center was held at ITS. This meeting was dedicated to discussing new, realistic projects on which the teams will work.
The coordinator of the Project Center, Vukašin Jeremić, emphasized the importance of practical experience that students gain through working on such projects. All projects are designed to be in line with real needs and trends in the industry, giving students the opportunity to develop solutions that will be directly applicable in practice.
The teams are formed with the aim of covering various aspects of project development – from scrum masters and product owners to designers and developers, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to each project. This approach allows students to gain experience in all stages of project development, from ideation to implementation.
During the meeting, the ITS executive manager and the assistant director for business operations and projects at ITS acted as clients, presenting needs and outlining project tasks to the teams. In subsequent individual meetings between the Project Center coordinator and team members, the specifications and requirements of each project, as well as the necessary resources and timeframes for their implementation, will be discussed. Special attention has been paid to the needs of users and ways in which projects will be integrated into the daily lives of students at ITS.
ITS continuously strives to provide its students with practical experiences that will be invaluable in their further professional development. Working in the Project Center represents a unique opportunity for students to develop their skills, collaborate in teams, and gain knowledge that is directly applicable in the industry.
