CERN School of Computing held for the first time in Belgrade
The academic year at the Information Technology School – ITS started with a ceremonial reception of the 18th generation of students. The welcome of the new students was marked by a record number of applications, indicating that freshmen have indeed made the right choice regarding their studies and future IT careers.
The ceremonial reception, held at the school premises, was organized by professors, staff, and leading figures from Comtrade and LINKgroup, the founding companies of ITS.
Record number of those who recognized the quality of education at ITS
Year after year, the Information Technology School, now traditionally, demonstrates why it bears the stamp of the most sought-after studies in the region. The main confirmation of this is the record number of enrollments, as well as the fact that each year the number of those who would like to enroll in ITS increases.
Dr. Slavko Pokorni, advisor to the principal of ITS, welcomed the new students and emphasized: “This school is very attractive, as evidenced by the results so far. The advantage of studying at ITS lies in preparing students for future jobs.” He added that the majority of students are employed both in foreign and domestic companies and wished them to work diligently, as this is the only way they can complete their studies successfully.

This year, as every year, the new generation of ITS students can expect even better conditions for their studies, as the premises are equipped with the latest technology, along with an even higher quality teaching staff.
Student impressions are yet another proof of the quality of studies at ITS and show the expectations with which students arrive.
“I was more curious about what I could enroll at, and then I took a quiz where I didn’t expect anyone to respond, but when they did, their answers ‘won me over’,” said first-year student Aleksandra Šeguljev.
ITS strives to provide better study conditions each year, making it rightfully the leading educational institution in the field of IT.
