Students from the Electrical Engineering High School “Nikola Tesla” have once again been given the opportunity to have an internship at Information Technology School. Two classes from the Multimedia Electrical Engineering Technician program have started working on a project aimed at creating the visual identity of a company and promoting it in the market.
The lecturers who will guide them during this two-week project are Danijela Grujić, Dušica Nešković, Miroslav Knežević, Milica Matović, Jovana Kondić, and Uroš Pokrajac. All of them have years of experience in teaching and graphic design.
The students are divided into teams, with each team assigned a different theme for the project. During the first week of the project, they conducted research, devised a name, created a logo and business cards, and selected colors and typography for an imaginary company. For the second week, tasks such as designing posters (including print preparation) and visuals for social media, as well as creating GIFs and simple animations, are planned. Additionally, the students are preparing a presentation showing all the examples and tasks they have been working on as part of this project.
Thanks to this internship, students from Electrical Engineering High School “Nikola Tesla” will learn to use many new tools. They will use Adobe programs – Illustrator and Photoshop and have already become familiar with Google applications for presentation creation. With numerous tips and suggestions from our experienced lecturers, they will gain additional skills and enrich themselves with valuable experience that will open up many opportunities for further education and development.
