CERN School of Computing held for the first time in Belgrade
With the aim of continuing work on the platform for the development of higher vocational education in Serbia and improving the status of institutions, teachers, and students, as well as better preparation for the upcoming accreditation of academies of applied studies and colleges of vocational studies, the Conference of Academies for Applied Studies in Serbia at the working meeting held on April 26, 2023, gathered presidents of academies of applied studies and principals of colleges of vocational studies.
At the session, attended by our school as well, changes in the legislative framework were discussed and initiated, as well as the current accreditation of higher education institutions and study programs, in order to further improve the quality of vocational studies in Serbia and the position of all stakeholders involved in higher vocational education in Serbia.
The Conference of Academies for Applied Studies in Serbia is a member of the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE). The meeting, attended by ITS representatives, was held as the third in a series with the aim of optimal preparation of higher education institutions for the next accreditation process of institutions and study programs and ensuring the quality of institutions and teaching.
