CERN School of Computing held for the first time in Belgrade
With the aim of better preparation for the upcoming accreditation of academies of vocational studies and colleges of vocational studies, the Conference of Academies for Applied Studies of Serbia, at a working meeting held on March 15, 2023, gathered presidents of academies of vocational studies, directors and assistant directors of colleges of vocational studies, as well as assistant presidents/directors of teaching, secretaries, and responsible persons for accreditation. The meeting was arranged with Prof. Dr. Milorad Milovančević, President of the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance, and coordinators for scientific fields, who opened the working meeting, discussing the most common uncertainties in the accreditation process of institutions and study programs. The meeting, attended by about 150 prominent representatives of higher education (colleges, colleges of vocational studies, and academies), was held at the Higher Education Technical School of Professional Studies in Novi Sad.
The Conference of Academies for Applied Studies of Serbia is a member of the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE). The meeting, attended by representatives of ITS, was held as the third in a series with the aim of optimal preparation of higher education institutions for the next accreditation process of institutions and study programs and ensuring the quality of institutions and teaching.
