Mirjana Denkov-Mraović was born in 1962 in Dimitrovgrad. In 1986 she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, in the class of professor Milica Stevanović. In 1990, she completed her postgraduate studies with an exhibition at the FFA gallery.
She has participated in numerous group and individual exhibitions in Serbia and abroad. She received many awards and prizes for her work.
She has been a member of the Serbian Association of Fine Arts Artists since 1987, and holds the status of independent artist.
1991–1993: manages art workshops (together with Edvin Romanović and Marija Ilić) within the Experiences of Modernism project, the experimental program for art workshops in cooperation with the Institute for Cultural Development in Belgrade, the Association of Fine Arts Artists of Serbia, the Branko Radičević primary school in New Belgrade. The exhibitions were accompanied by the following catalogues: 3+3 at the Pero gallery, and Experiences of Modernism, at the Belgrade Youth Centre gallery.
