In 1973, he graduated from the Mathematical Gymnasium in Belgrade. In 1978 he obtained his BA at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade (Department of Electronics, control engineering course). In 1987, he obtained his MA from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade. He defended his PhD thesis entitled Determining the quality of the gyro stabilization regulation process using the split axes method at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in East Sarajevo. In 1998, he passed the electrical engineering professional exam at the Union of Engineers and Technicians of Serbia. In 2010, he obtained the title of Research Associate at the Nikola Tesla Institute.

Upon graduating from university, he started teaching at the Nikola Tesla Secondary School of Electrical Engineering in the 1978/79 school year. From September 1979 until September 1992 he worked at the Military Technical Institute in Belgrade, where he was engaged in several research and development projects, two of which were implemented on the Arms Industry. For this work he received several awards including the Medal of Labor of the Presidency of Yugoslavia (1987). He has been engaged in numerous commercial and international projects and since 2011 he has worked on the project of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.

Since September 1992 he has worked in higher education, as a teacher at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Applied Studies in Belgrade, at the Department of Computer Science at the State University of Novi Pazar, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in East Sarajevo where he has taught the following subjects: Basics of Computer Technics and Programming, Databases, Introduction to Programming, Card Systems.

He is the author and co-author of numerous science papers and textbooks in the field of computer science.
