Ivan Mandić graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, and completed his postgraduate and specialist studies at the Department of Advertising and Media at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
He has been a longstanding lecturer at the International Baccalaureate program, where he also participates as an exam moderator for the IBO organization. He has actively participated in organizing film and video workshops for young people, as well as in numerous domestic and foreign projects on media education, where he worked as a lecturer, moderator and organizer.
He has made several feature documentaries that have been shown at festivals and by TV stations in Serbia and abroad.
