Vlade Urošević was born on October 19, 1957 in Gornji Milanovac. He attended primary and secondary school in Čačak, and earned his BA from the Faculty of Sciences in Kragujevac in 1982. At the same faculty, he defended his PhD thesis in 2001. In October 2003, by the decision of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Development, he obtained the title of research assistant. He was the head of the Center for IT training for employees of the information systems unit of Zastava Automobili.
As an information system designer, he participated in several projects, as well as in the development of application software in fields of production, procurement and economic and commercial transactions. In 2004, by the decision of the Academic Council of the Technical Faculty in Čačak, he was appointed docent for Information Technologies and Techniques. In April 2009, he became an associate professor of Applied Computer Science and Informatics.
