Nebojša Stefanović has long-standing experience in industry (Ivo Lola Ribar, Lola Institute, IKL (Industry of Ball Bearings) and public administration (Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development) in areas including design, manufacturing and exploitation of tools, machines and transport systems, information system security, solving specific problems in education using the TRIZ method, as well as other fields in the Republic of Serbia.
In 1988 he earned his BA from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade. In 2001, he obtained his MA in dynamic behavior of supporting structures with experimental sampling. In 2010, he obtained his PhD from the Faculty of Economics and Engineering Management at the University Business Academy in Novi Sad, with a thesis on the model of managing information system risks with examining the safety and reliability of a selected information system model.
At the Ministry of Education, he managed the design, development and implementation of the information system for primary and secondary education. He also took part in the implementation of the information system for higher education. He worked on the system for security classification of information according to the level of confidentiality, integrity and availability. He is the author and co-author of more than 20 papers presented in domestic and international conferences, technical and development solutions, projects, studies and expertise.
