Marko Ranković was born in 1980 in Belgrade. He holds a Ph.D. in technical sciences (area of expertise: organizational sciences); he earned his BA in management, MA in information systems (Department for e-Business) with a thesis on Models and Techniques for the Protection of Card Payment Systems; he obtained his PhD from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade, with a thesis on Research on the Role of the Payment Processor in Servicing Online Financial Transactions.

He has taught at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, IIM/EURO (Master Studies) and the ICT College of Vocational Studies in Belgrade. So far, he has published more than 20 papers in finance services, banking, payment system protection and e-Business in national and international journals and conferences.

He is employed at Euronet Worldwide, the leading global and largest banking processor in the region, as head of Project Management. He has managed more than 70 international and national projects in banking and SW implementation. He has worked with the largest global and domestic banks, card organizations and the leading manufacturers of banking application SW, ATM devices and POS terminals.
